In a landmark initiative for the promotion of sports and healthy activities among students, the Government of Punjab has decided to construct playgrounds in 100 schools across the province. The decision was announced during a high-level meeting chaired by Provincial Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab, Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar.

The initiative aims to provide modern sports facilities to students, encourage physical activities, and create opportunities for young talent to flourish at the grassroots level. Approximately 25 lakh students across Punjab are expected to benefit from this major development project.

Under this program, selected schools will receive proper sports grounds and facilities to support various games and athletic activities. The project will particularly focus on improving educational institutions that currently lack playground infrastructure.
