Karachi Board Position Holders to Get Free Electric Bikes & Scholarships

Great news for students! 🎉 The Chairman of the Intermediate Board Karachi, Faqir Muhammad Lakho, has announced that top-performing students from government colleges will be awarded free electric bikes as part of the Prime Minister’s national initiative.

Scholarships for Position Holders

Alongside this, the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA) has stepped forward to fully support education by offering 100% scholarships to all position holders. This will allow them to continue their higher studies free of charge.

Special Ceremony Planned

A grand ceremony is being arranged where position holders, their parents, and notable dignitaries will be invited. The electric bikes—already delivered to Karachi—will be officially handed over to students at this event.

Annual Program Until 2030

Officials confirmed that this program will continue every year until 2030, ensuring that top students regularly benefit from both recognition and practical support.

Nationwide Scheme

This initiative is part of a larger government plan to encourage eco-friendly transport and support education. Under the scheme:

• 🚲 100,000 electric bikes will be distributed among position holders from all boards across Pakistan.

• 🛺 3,000 electric rickshaws and loaders will be given to unemployed individuals to support their livelihoods.
