The following updates are issued for all concerned schools regarding the Quality Assurance Test (QAT) 2026:

Tentative Exam Schedule

QAT 2026 will be conducted in the last week of February 2026 or the first week of March 2026.
Syllabus Coverage

The syllabus will be included up to 31st December 2025.
Roll Number Slips

Roll number slips will be issued one week before the examination.
Examination Centers
-
The examination will be school-based.

Schools are required to arrange centers using temporary tents (Shamiana system).
Class-Wise Examination Pattern
-
Schools without Class 3 or above will conduct oral exams up to Class 2 only.

Written exams will be conducted from Class 3 to Class 12.
School Category-Wise Selection
Primary Schools:

One combined paper for Classes 3–5 (two classes selected).
Elementary Schools:

Classes 3–5 (two classes selected)

Classes 6–7 (one class selected)
Secondary Schools:
-
Classes 3–5 (one class)

Classes 6–7 (one class)

Classes 9–10 (one class)
Higher Secondary Schools:

One additional class will be selected from Classes 11–12.
Student Selection Criteria

25% of students from each selected class will appear in the exam.

If a class has 15 or fewer students, all students will appear.

Among selected students:

10% absentee allowance
-
10% dropout allowance

Paper Pattern
-
MCQs must be filled using black ball point.

The paper will be strictly based on the approved model paper.
