The Government of Pakistan has officially declared Wednesday, August 26, 2026, as a public holiday on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (12th Rabi-ul-Awwal 1448 A.H.).
According to a notification issued by the Cabinet Division, Government of Pakistan, the public holiday has been announced for the observance of Eid Milad-un-Nabi across the country.
The notification was issued in Islamabad on August 21, 2026, and circulated for wide publicity through major English and Urdu newspapers and electronic media.
