PEF School Categorization Formula
The total score consists of 100 marks, divided into two major components:
- Performance – 70 Marks
- Facilities – 30 Marks
- Total – 100 Marks
The Performance component includes indicators such as QAT results, teachers’ qualifications, professional qualifications, student-teacher ratio, teachers’ training, student distinction and retention percentage.

Categorization Marks in SIS
The categorization letter is also being sent to PEF Partners by post. Furthermore, the categorization marks of each school will be updated in the SIS School Section under “Categorisation” within the next few days.
Based on the marks obtained under the approved criteria, PEF partner schools will be assigned A, B, C, or D categories.
In the future, fee adjustments will be made according to the relevant indicators and school categorization criteria.
Important for PEF Partners
All PEF Partners are requested to review their school’s categorization marks once the data is updated in SIS and ensure that the relevant performance and facility indicators are properly reflected.
PEF School Categorization Formula:
Performance (70) + Facilities (30) = Final Score (100)
