The Punjab Finance Department has approved the creation of 1,490 School Guard posts in public schools across Punjab under a lump-sum pay package. Check the official notification dated 13 July 2026, district-wise vacancies, eligibility updates, and recruitment details.
According to the notification, the approval has been granted following the decision of the Provincial Cabinet. The posts will be created on a lump-sum pay package in place of abolished Class-IV and School Guard posts.

The expenditure will be borne by the respective District Education Authorities (DEAs) from the available PFC share.
