Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) hereby informs all partner schools that Quality Assurance Tests (QATs) for the academic year 2025–26 will be conducted under the FAS, EVS, NSP, and PSRP programs. All concerned schools are required to strictly follow the instructions and guidelines given below:
Important Instructions
- QATs for the academic year 2025–26 will be conducted as per the schedule issued by PEF. Detailed timelines will be shared separately.
- All partner schools must prepare students strictly according to the PEF-approved syllabus and content books.
- The QAT paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) only, as illustrated in the sample provided by PEF.
- All questions will be bilingual, i.e., provided in English and Urdu.
- Students must select only one correct option for each question. Multiple responses will not be accepted.
- QATs will cover all subjects as per the relevant grade level.
- Each subject will carry specific marks and a defined number of questions, as prescribed by PEF.
- Student participation will be selected through the Student Information System (SIS) on a random basis.
- Inclusive Students (students with special needs) will be facilitated according to SIS data and PEF policy. Any relaxation will be allowed strictly as per PEF rules.
- Each school must ensure the participation of at least 25% of enrolled students in QATs, while the maximum limit will be determined as per PEF instructions.
- Any instance of cheating, unethical practices, or violation of PEF rules during QATs will result in strict disciplinary action against the concerned school.
- Schools are required to provide full cooperation to PEF monitors and representatives during the conduct of QATs.
- QAT results will be used to evaluate school performance, which may impact program continuation and future participation.
- All partner schools must thoroughly review and comply with the Updated SIS Booklet issued by PEF.

Transfer cases should be verified along with documents, education certificates, domicile, and other documents.

Transfer applications must be submitted before the prescribed date. Regional/District offices should verify the applications as per rules.

All types of registration work should be done carefully and appointments should be made regularly.

All types of cases should be disposed of within the prescribed time period.

Physically disabled and NADRA verified staff (EVS Nomination) should be appointed by December 15, 2025.

Students enrolling in the year 2025-26 should be charged the following prescribed fees on monthly basis:
Class Fee Structure A-One-A If enrollment in government school – Rs. 0 per month, continue as before. A-One-L If enrollment in 50% subsidized school – Rs. 0 per month, continue as before. L-A-L-A If enrollment in 50% subsidized school – Rs. 0 per month, continue as before. L-A-L-O-Levada If enrollment in 50% subsidized school – Rs. 0 per month, continue as before. In this regard, efforts should be made to ensure that transfers of teachers take place in accordance with rules and regulations. All concerned authorities should ensure proper verification of documents and records. Teachers’ transfers should be processed within the stipulated timeframe according to established rules and regulations.
Important Notice
All school heads are instructed to disseminate this information among teachers, students, and parents and ensure that QAT preparation is aligned with PEF policies and guidelines.
