PECTAA Punjab has officially launched the English Language Proficiency Training Program for 35,000 government school teachers under the Chief Minister’s Special Initiative. Training begins from June 22, 2026.
The initiative was approved by the Provincial Cabinet under the Chief Minister’s Special Initiative aimed at improving English language proficiency among public school teachers and students. The training program is being conducted through the National Radio & Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC) in collaboration with Berlitz.
According to the official notification issued on June 18, 2026, the training will be conducted at the tehsil level in multiple batches to facilitate teachers across Punjab.
Training Schedule
✅ Batch-I: 22 June 2026 – 18 July 2026
✅ Batch-II: 20 July 2026 – 15 August 2026
✅ Batch-III: 27 July 2026 – 20 August 2026
The detailed teacher-wise schedules will be shared separately through the respective District PECTAA Offices and Berlitz coordinators.
District authorities have been directed to ensure full participation of nominated teachers and provide all necessary administrative and logistical support for the successful implementation of the program.
This initiative is expected to strengthen English language teaching standards and enhance classroom learning outcomes in public schools throughout Punjab.
