The Government of Punjab, Finance Department, has issued a notification granting the Civil Secretariat Allowance at 100% of monthly basic pay under the Basic Pay Scales 2026, effective 1 July 2026.
According to the notification dated 22 July 2026, the allowance will be admissible to eligible employees serving in the Punjab Civil Secretariat Departments, Governor’s House/Secretariat, and the Chief Minister’s Office who receive their salaries through the respective departmental payrolls.
The Finance Department has clarified that all other terms and conditions of the previous notification shall remain unchanged.
The notification has been circulated to the concerned departments for implementation and has also been directed for publication on the official Finance Department website.
