Punjab schools extended winter timings till January 31, 2024 Notification Issued
Due to severe weather conditions, the winter hours for both public and private schools in Punjab have been prolonged until January 31st across the entire province.
Throughout this period, all schools in Punjab, whether public or private, are set to commence at 9:30 a.m. Initially intended to conclude on January 23rd, the extended winter timings will now persist until January 31st, with schools returning to their regular schedules on February 1st.

It’s worth mentioning that there will be no further extensions to the winter holiday period for elementary school students in Punjab. The previous extension, initially scheduled for January 19th, remains effective as of today.
As outlined in the notice issued on January 10th regarding winter holidays, assemblies, and other outdoor activities in schools will continue to be suspended until January 31, 2024.
