DEA Rawalpindi has directed all private schools to remain closed from May 22 to August 23, 2026, with a complete ban on classes, exams, summer camps, and student attendance during summer vacations.
The Office of the Chief Executive Officer (DEA), District Education Authority (DRA), Rawalpindi, has issued an official notification directing all privately managed schools across the district to strictly observe summer vacations from 22 May 2026 to 23 August 2026.
According to the notification, all private educational institutions must remain completely closed during the vacation period. Schools are prohibited from conducting physical classes, examinations, summer camps, events, ceremonies, functions, or any other academic and co-curricular activities on school premises.
The notification further emphasizes that no student shall be called, forced, or permitted to attend school during the summer holidays.
District education officials have been directed to conduct regular monitoring and inspections to ensure compliance. Any violation of government directives may result in strict legal action against the concerned institution. Field officers will also be held accountable for any non-compliance within their respective jurisdictions.
Educational institutions are advised to strictly follow the government’s summer vacation policy to ensure student safety and compliance with official regulations.
