Attention all teachers! The Teacher Needs Assessment (TNA) test is just around the corner. Here’s everything you need to know:
Test Schedule
- Dates: The TNA will take place from next Friday and will continue through Saturday and Sunday.
- Details: The exact schedule for the test will be provided by the Punjab Monitoring and Implementation Unit (PMIU).
Test Format
- Fully Online: The test will be conducted entirely online, so there will be no paperwork involved.
- Interviews: Interviews will be conducted by third-party evaluators selected from a list provided by PMIU.
Training and Support
- Teacher Training: During working days, training for teachers will be organized in groups of five.
- Mock Exercises: All teachers must download the TNA application from the Play Store and complete mock exercises on Saturday, October 19, 2024. You can find the app here.
Test Details
- Duration: The test will last for 40 minutes. If there are connectivity issues, a grace period of 20 minutes will be provided.
- Interview Times:
- For females: 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM
- For males: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Centers and Oversight
- Training Centers: There will be three training centers at each tehsil level.
- Focal Persons: The CEO of DEA will act as the district focal person, while the Dy DEO will be the tehsil focal person.
- Inspection Teams: Vigilance teams from PMIU will visit the centers for inspection.
Test Structure
- Sections: The test will include three sections:
- Pedagogy
- Cognitive Skills
- Intelligence Questions
- Offline Mode: Once connected to the Internet, all questions will be downloaded for offline access, meaning no Internet connection will be needed during the test.
Additional Information
- Username and Password: Teachers will use their CNIC as the username, with the password provided at the time of the test.
- Separate Centers: Male and female test centers will be separate.
- Missed Training: Teachers who miss the training due to genuine reasons or medical leave will have the chance to take the training/test later.
