Lahore – Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat chaired the Steering Committee meeting of the Chief Minister Punjab Laptop Scheme. The meeting focused on ensuring a transparent, fair, and efficient laptop distribution process for deserving students across Punjab.
During the meeting, the committee approved measures for transparent verification, merit-based distribution, and the inclusion of private universities in the scheme. A dedicated mechanism was also approved to address students’ complaints promptly, ensuring that all eligible applicants receive equal opportunities.
The initiative reflects the Punjab Government’s commitment to promoting digital education, improving access to technology, and empowering students through merit-based support.
