PMDC Introduces Digital Question Bank for MDCAT 2025 – A Step Toward Transparency
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC) has officially launched a new question bank for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT 2025) as part of its digital transformation drive. The announcement, made in Islamabad, marks a significant step toward ensuring transparency, fairness, and standardization in Pakistan’s medical education system.
Moving Toward Digitalization
PM&DC President Prof. Dr. Rizwan Taj highlighted that the council is rapidly shifting toward technology-based platforms for student registration, monitoring, and college inspections. This digital transition aims to minimize human involvement, cut down errors, and increase efficiency in managing medical education.
MDCAT 2025 Question Bank
For the first time, a comprehensive digital question bank has been introduced, developed under a uniform national syllabus agreed upon by all provinces. Officials emphasized that this initiative will:

Government’s Assurance of Fairness
Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal, who inaugurated the system, praised the initiative as a “step toward restoring public confidence” in medical entrance exams. He also issued a strong warning that any lapses in fairness, transparency, or supervision would not be tolerated.
