Punjab School Education Department and PMIU review progress on solar system installations in schools to promote clean energy, sustainability, and improved educational infrastructure across Punjab.
A high-level meeting chaired under the leadership of Provincial Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat reviewed the ongoing progress of solar system installations aimed at improving energy efficiency, reducing electricity costs, and ensuring uninterrupted learning environments in schools.
The initiative reflects the Government of Punjab’s commitment to clean energy, educational sustainability, and modern infrastructure development. The solarization project is expected to provide long-term financial relief to schools while supporting an eco-friendly and resilient education system across the province.
